I Declare... A Major!
Haven't declared a major yet? Don't worry, you're not alone. Many people who enter college aren't sure of what they want to do. Choosing a major usually reflects what you choose as a career. So give this decision some thought. It is highly recommended that you declare a major by the end of your sophomore year or once you have completed 54 credits. All students who have yet to choose a major can benefit from these helpful suggestions:
- Begin listing your interests, skills, values and goals.
- Research specific fields of interests.
- Speak with your EOP counselor, professors and/or academic advisors or professionals in your field of interest.
- Utilize the many resources offered in the Career Services office in Rakov.
