Student: Andrea Rodriguez

Major: English
Career Goal: Teaching

Andrea is a remarkable senior. She is a McNair scholar who spent an entire semester in England. She continues to make made genuine contributions to SUNY Brockport. She is the current Vice President of the Association of Latino American Students and the Cultural Clubs representative to the Brockport Student Government. Make sure you get to know Andrea- a truly world class individual.

Hometown: Harlem , New York
Major: Health Science
Career Goal: Hospital Administrator/CEO

Most of you have either witnessed or encountered the motivation, drive and amicable personality of EOP senior LaTashia Penick. Noting that LaTashia has “a lot under her belt” would be a huge understatement. The Health Care Administration major and current BSG Student Services Director has been involved in and coordinated numerous community service projects on and off the Brockport campus. Tashia’s student involvement also includes the Collegiate Diversity and Planning Committee, National Council of Negro Women, Electoral Council, and Student Nurses Association. She was also Assistant Director/Mentor for the Community Mentoring Project and Vice President of the Caribbean Student Association. She has received awards for outstanding leadership abilities and community service. Tashia has also contributed her efforts to areas outside of New York, interning as a Human Papillomavirus researcher at UCLA and studying abroad this past winter, in Ghana. Even with her busy schedule, LaTashia Penick still manages an overall GPA above a 3.0 and is well respected among her peers. Congratulations Tashia. EOP notices how hard you strive to achieve, so keep up the good work!

Major: Criminal Justice
Career Goal: FBI/Lawyer

Sodelyne is a senior who transfered from Queens Community College in the fall 2003. Since she became a part of the EOP family here at SUNY Brockport, Sodelyne has embraced the College experience full force. She is part of the University Police Student Patrol and a resident assistant in Mortimer Hall. This past December, Sodelyne was part of the Ghana Intersession Program, taking full advantage of everything SUNY Brockport has to offer.
