Financial Aid Report
The financial aid application season is in full swing. As most of you know the start of the process is your FAFSA.*
It is very important to use timely and accurate information in completing your FAFSA and the rest of the application process. Make sure you obtain the needed income documentation/information for yourself and any relevant parental units, prior to starting the FAFSA process.
Please remember that at the end of your online FAFSA application there is a link to NYS and TAP. Failure to use this link could result in a delay in the processing of your TAP application.
For those of you who are considered independent by the financial aid office, don’t forget that you need to complete a paper FAFSA in the financial aid office as well as several other documents. By now, you should have received a financial aid application checklist from your counselor. If you need another one see your counselor. It is very important that you understand all aspects of the process.
As always, the EOP staff is here to help you in any way possible to complete this vital application process.
