FINANCIAL AID

Welcome back! We in EOP really missed you and are glad to have you return. This is a busy time of year in regard to your bill and financial aid. The following are some chores you need to accomplish.

  • Make sure you have affirmed your enrollment and accepted your financial aid. These are separate tasks and can both be done on Banner.
  • Make sure you see your assigned EOP counselor to get your book check.
  • Make sure you have the proper meal plan to suit your lifestyle. You can make changes at the beginning of the semester at Brockway Dining Hall.
  • Make sure you are aware of the status of your health insurance. If you already have health insurance, make sure you waive the charges. If you don’t have health insurance, make sure you file a financial aid appeal to cover the costs of the mandatory health insurance.
  • Make sure you have completed all financial aid process obligations such as loan disclosure documents, pre-loan interviews, promissory notes, etc.
  • Don’t forget to be aware of your optional alumni fee and Easy Money status on your bill. Any reduction/increase in your charges can impact any anticipated credit balance disbursements.
  • Make sure you are aware of your TAP status.
  • Always remember that you can be held financially responsible for any charges added to your bill. This includes parking tickets, phone charges, Easy Money, etc.

If you are planning on graduating this term, make sure you do an exit interview with the Financial Aid Office.

Of course, if you have questions or need any help, please see your EOP counselor or the director. Thanks and our wishes for a happy and productive year!
