Graduating Seniors!

Just a reminder to make sure to fill out your graduation data card in the Office of Registration and Records. If you are graduating this coming December make sure that the commencement fee is on your bill from the Bursar’s office.

Graduate School

Are you still deciding whether to go to graduate school or work? Many career fields today are requiring more than a bachelor’s degree for employment opportunities. It may be to your benefit to research the many programs offered in graduate school, even if you have not yet made a decision.

A great Web site to start you off on your search is www.petersons.com. The search engine has information on thousands of graduate school programs nationally. It can even help you find ways to finance your graduate school application.

Don’t wait until the last minute. Start your search now and find out about the many opportunities out there. Talk to your counselor about your plans and find ways in which they can help you research.

GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT PREPARATION

Students, the Office of Career Services, partnered with Kaplan, can help you prepare for the next step in your path to graduate school: the graduate school admission tests. They offer FREE practice tests to students at SUNY Brockport. These are tests given in previous years. Take the time to practice and see what your strengths and weaknesses are. For more information about dates and schedules, please contact Mrs. Adair Korn in Career Services at (585) 395-2159 or stop by the office located in the first floor of the Rakov Center.

The next session of practice tests is scheduled for the spring 2006 semester.
