From the Director
Well it’s the end of March, spring break is over and you should be deeply endeavoring to get that 3.0 or above GPA this semester. Midterm grades have been posted and some of you did great, however, others have a lot of work to do. By now if you’re smart and have been paying any attention, you’ve filed your 2005 – 06 FAFSA.
In case you’ve missed the fliers, e-mails, invitations and poster, EOP will host its 27 th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 8 and everyone is invited. This is an occasion where we can get all dressed up if we want, sit back and enjoy a wonderful soul-filled meal, fine entertainment, and give honor to those of you who deserve to be honored for their great accomplishments. Now in order for our banquet to continue to be one of the finest on the campus, we need you to make sure you are there. So put it on your calendar now, and I will see you at the banquet.
Now my article would not be complete if I didn’t say something about why we’re really here. I am talking about getting Good Grades. I mean the “Best Grade Possible” in each course. I mean going to class, getting a tutor and working with your EOP counselor. This is why we are all here, right? So what I’d like to give to most of you is a small push to do your best and to some a real strong kick and say, “Let’s get busy.”
