Financial Aid News - Important Chores!!

Welcome back!  I hope you all had a safe and productive summer. Now that you are all rested from your vacation, there are a number of chores concerning your student bill and your financial aid which you need to accomplish.

Make sure you are registered full time and have affirmed your enrollment. You are required to discuss the matter with your counselor, if your are going to be part time.

Make sure you review all elements of your student bill. Make sure you have the correct meal plan. Make sure you review the status of Easy Money and the Alumni Fee. Both are optional. Please discuss both of these charges with your counselor.
It’s very important that you know the status of your Mandatory Health Insurance. You need to discuss your options with your counselor ASAP. Your options in this matter are time restricted.

You want to make absolutely sure that your financial aid is complete with all process obligations and all documents are submitted and that you have accepted your financial aid.

It’s very important that you understand each item of your financial aid award. You should also be aware of your assigned financial aid budget, any unmet need, and any expected family contribution.

When it comes to financial aid and your student bill, knowledge is power. Don’t forget to see your assigned counselor to get your book check and discuss any questions you might have.

Have a good financial aid year!
