Know Your Counselor

Because it’s mandatory!!!

Helping others is nothing new to EOP senior counselor Latasha Craig. “I was a student in the EOP. The program helped me to be successful and now it is my turn to give back,” said Latasha. Previously, Latasha worked as a social worker for the Department of Human Services in Rochester, NY. She enjoys her work here with EOP because she can establish strong bonds with her students. When I asked Latasha what it means to be a mother she immediately smiled. “It means everything to me. T’Andrah is my everything!” she beamed in reference to her seven-year old daughter. Latasha is also a sensitive and emotional person. “A lot of people may not know that I cry over anything,” said Latasha. She commented that relaxing at home and hanging out with her family helps her to unwind. She believes that as a student or professional, it is important to take time out for yourself.
