Financial Aid News

WELCOME BACK HOME! We in the family hope you had a happy and successful vacation. At the start of this new semester, you want to take a good look at your current student bill. You want to make sure you have affirmed your enrollment.  Make sure all charges are accurate. Pay particular attention to your easy money, alumni fee, and meal plan status. All these charges can impact any potential refund. You want to be particularly sure you know the amount of your potential refund. As always, take a look to see if you really need the refund. You can use the refund to pay back part of your loans. Always remember that any charges you incur, after you get your refund, are your responsibility.

This is also the time of year when you should be working on your financial aid renewal application for the 2007/08 academic year. You should have received by e-mail a copy of our financial aid checklist. We also sent a copy of a letter for your parents. You need to sit down with your EOP counselor and review this process.  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR NEXT EOP CHECK UNTIL YOU FILE YOUR FAFSA! We will be working with you to help arrive at a timely and successful completion of this most important of processes.
