From the Director

In my meetings with graduating seniors during the past few weeks a most interesting thing has occurred. Each of them has commented about how quickly their time at Brockport has passed. Well this year is no different it has just gone on by and the end is just around the bend. With this in mind I am sure each of you is very busy completing those final papers or project or preparing for exam week. Let me encourage you to do your best during this crunch time. Now there are a few more things I should remind you about before you leave. First, make sure your financial aid is complete, and that you are packaged. Also make sure that you have accepted your aid, pre-register, and affirm your enrollment. Each of these items is very important!

Finally, congratulations to all of our graduating seniors and a wish of success to each of you.Don’t forget where you ’ve come from. To all of you have a safe, joyful, and prosperous summer. Read a book or two and have fun. See you next fall.

BECOME AN EOP MENTEE IN OUR MENTORING PROGRAM!!!!

Did you know that research has shown that students who have a mentor while in college improve their GPAs and stay in school to obtain their degree? Students also feel that they are more focused in their career direction as a result of a mentoring relationship. Let’s not forget the lasting benefit of the friendship and bond you will develop with your mentor!

For more information, speak with you EOP Counselor and/or stop by and see me in my office #G28 in the EOP department or you can contact me, Kate O’Brien, Mentoring Program Coordinator, at 585-395-5434 or kaobrien@brockprot.edu
