Classrooms
The Department of the Earth Sciences has been calling Lennon Hall home for more than 30 years. Part of the Smith-Lennon Science Center, Earth Sciences shares Lennon with the departments of Biology and Environmental Science & Biology. Chemistry, Computational Sciences and Physics share space in Smith Hall.
Major renovations of Lennon Hall were completed in 2001 which allowed for new state-of-the-art digital classrooms, a "learning theater" computer classroom that houses 20 brand new SUN workstations, and upgraded laboratory facilities for teaching and research.
More recent renovations to additional research lab space were completed in 2008. These upgrades expand the practical experiences and research opportunities for our undergraduate majors.
