Mush Hole Remembered: R. G. Miller

The paintings by Mohawk artist R. Gary Miller are a testament to his life while at the Mohawk Institute Indian residential school in Brantford, Ontario, from 19531964. The harrowing conditions at the school led the artist to commit his unpleasant memories to several canvasses. The exhibit is one of several research projects by Neal Keating, an assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology.

Are you ready for some good old fashioned fun? Join us at Brockport Bowl for the annual evening of strikes, spares, and Golden Eagle spirit! Lanes are available on a first come, first served basis. Registration is required. Tickets are $7 each and include shoes, games, and snacks.

NSCS Induction

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) chapter at Brockport is excited to induct their new members during the festivities of Family Weekend. Students who have achieved a GPA of 3.4 or higher have been invited to attend the induction ceremony. New members will receive an NSCS pin, meet their chapter officers, and learn more about opportunities within the chapter. Family and guests are welcome to attend the ceremony and attire is business casual. Continental breakfast will be served from 10:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. and the induction will begin promptly at 10:40 a.m. RSVP is required for this event. Please contact your student for details.
