Art Exhibit: Animal Logic: Artists Contemplate Creature Kingdoms

Contemporary society has developed interesting associations with the animal kingdom, both domesticated and wild, through personal interactions and a more informed understanding of the importance of wildlife conservation. Gallery director Tim Massey has curated this exhibit in which artistic concepts range from analytical, humorous, sympathetic, transferal, to fantastic. Featuring works by Brandon C. Smith, Richmond, KY; Peter Olson, DeKalb, IL; Rachael McCampbell, Nashville, TN, and Lisa Merida–Paytes, Cincinnati, OH.

This reception, sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations and the Brockport Alumni Association, honors current alumni scholarship recipients. Recipients are welcome to bring their families. past recipients are also invited to attend. Pre registration is recommended. This event is free.

Eagles Hockey vs. Morrisville

Gather your Golden Eagles spirit and cheer on the hockey team as they take on Morrisville. Admission prices are $4 adults, $3 alumni, $2 students/children/Senior Citizens, free for College at Brockport students/faculty/staff with ID.

Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra

For more than 80 years, the RPO has been known for its high standard of artistic excellence, unique tradition of musical versatility and deep commitment to education and community engagement. A “Suite from Star Wars” leads off an exciting evening of marches and other music played by this illustrious ensemble. The concert will also feature works by Sousa, Strauss and Tchaikovsky. Experience the orchestra in the intimate setting of the Tower Fine Arts Center Mainstage, where you can be thisclose to the music. Pre registration is required. Ticket prices are $12 adults, $10 senior citizens/alumni/faculty/staff, and $8 students.

Rock n' Bowl

Are you ready for some good old fashioned fun? Join us at Brockport Bowl for an evening of strikes, spares, and Golden Eagle spirit! Lanes are available on a first come, first served basis. Pre-Registration is recommended. Tickets are $5 each. Price includes shoes, games, snacks, and a rockin' good time!

The Office of International Education invites you to explore Brockport’s extraordinary campus: the world! Join us for brunch before the game. Students who have recently participated in one of Brockport’s 70 life-changing study abroad programs will host a Q&A panel about the kinds of opportunities that are available to students and about the phenomenal experiences they have had by taking part. Join us for an afternoon of Fall fun! Enjoy ice cream, apple crisp, and a family picture station. This event is free. Pre-registration recommended.

Stuff-a-bear

Come one and all to stuff your own bear! Whether five or fifty-five, everyone has been seen having a good time at this event. One bear per person with pre-purchased ticket. The College at Brockport students with ID who register online receive one free ticket, all other tickets are $5 each. Quantities limited, sign up today to reserve your bear! Limited tickets may be available at the door.

Legacy Reception

The Office of Alumni Relations honors Brockport students with family members who are the College at Brockport alumni. Students and alumni relatives are invited to attend this reception. This event is free. Pre-registration is recommended.

Kids' Night Out

Children ages four to thirteen are invited to join us for the Kids' Night Out Program! The program is designed to provide a variety of games and activities for children, while their parents enjoy a night on the town. Children may be dropped off and picked up with staff members located in Tuttle North Room B286. Tickets are $23 each and pre-registration is required.
