Jennifer Padellaro
Accounting Supervisor

Jennifer has been employed at SUNY Brockport since 2000. Prior to her employment, she began work in the Accounting Office in 1998 as a student employee. Upon graduating, she was hired as a Staff Accountant to assist with the implementation of the SCT Banner student information system. She has since been promoted to Accounting Supervisor in February 2006. Jennifer received a BS in Accounting and Dance from SUNY Brockport in 2000.

Jennifer is responsible for maintenance of the College’s general ledger records, reporting of revenue and collections to SUNY System Administration using the Uniform Revenue Accounting System (URAS), bank reconciliation, payroll distribution, federal direct lending program funds reconciliation, and records retention.

Reporting directly to Jennifer are Crystal Hallenbeck, Staff Accountant and Ellen Tobin, Calculations Clerk 1, and several student employees. Crystal Hallenbeck primarily assists with revenue and collection reporting and training student employees. Ellen Tobin is primarily responsible for tracking cash transactions relating to the bank reconciliation.

Jeffrey D. Post
Director of Budget and Grants Administration
 

Jeff has been employed at SUNY Brockport since 1980. He received a BS in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport in 1975 and a MS in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1980. Jeff started his career at Brockport as Assistant College Accountant and was responsible for revenue and financial aid accounting. In 1986 he was promoted to Budget Control Officer and in 1996 he took on additional responsibilities directing the campus Research Foundation post-award function.

On the “state side” of financial management, Jeff is responsible for the following functions/ activities: budget and financial analyses; budget support for departmental and executive management; Dormitory Income Fund Reimbursable (DIFR) financial operations and capital budgeting; faculty and staff salary pool management; financial modeling; recurring financial reporting; revenue, disbursements and payroll projections; security administrator for SUNY financial system; and SUNY financial systems data requirements. Jeff is also a staff member to the campus Budget and Resource Committee. He supervises one staff member in the Budget Office – Judy Conway, Calculations Clerk 2.

Jeff is also responsible for directing the post-award financial activities (accounting, contract administration, human resources, payroll, and purchasing) of externally sponsored grants and contracts administered through the Research Foundation of SUNY and reports directly to the vice president for this function. The Research Foundation is a separate legal entity for administering sponsored programs outside of the State’s rules and regulations.

For many years Jeff has actively participated in SUNY’s Accounting, Budgeting and Bursar Committee including leadership positions such as secretary and chair for both the Budgeting Subcommittee and the Joint Committee, and provides input to various committee projects such as SUNY financial system improvements and financial policy development.


Shannon Sauro, TPM, PMP
Director of Telecommunications and Business Processes

 Shannon has been employed at SUNY Brockport since 1999. She began as a Calculations Clerk in the Office of Student Accounts, working there from 1999 through January of 2001, until she accepted an upgrade in the Office of Telecommunications. Working initially as a Calculations Clerk II, she was promoted to Assistant Director in April of 2004. In 2004 Shannon successfully obtained her TPM (Telecommunications Project Management) Certification through BICSI, and in 2007, Shannon received her PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification through the Project Management Institute.

Shannon assumed the role of Acting Director, as well as continuing the duties of Assistant Director from 2004-2005, until she was elected as Director of Telecommunications in 2005. Shannon received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from The College at Brockport .

As Director of Telecommunications and Business Processes, Shannon’s responsibilities include cable infrastructure management for both the Brockport and MetroCenter campuses, management and maintenance of the PBX; cable TV network; ResNet contract and performance; campus-wide project management; Telecommunications project management; server management; billing services; student resale; vendor contracts and relationships; along with the supervision of the Telecommunications staff and Apogee Technician.



Teresa Donnelly-Major
Director of Student Accounts

 Teresa Donnelly-Major has been employed at SUNY College at Brockport since January 2007. Teresa comes to Brockport after serving as the manager of Student Financial Services at the University of San Diego and as the bursar at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and has more than 18 years experience working in the student accounts field. Teresa earned her bachelors degree in Organizational Communication from the University at Buffalo.

As Director of Student Accounts, Teresa's role is to provide oversight of a comprehensive financial operation designed to assist students and their families with their student accounts. Responsibilities include billing, loan and scholarship payment processing, and counseling students relative to their financial obligations. 

Teresa represents the department on a number of College-wide committees, and holds membership in several professional organizations.
