As I attended Brockport in the early '80s, I identified so many opportunities for enhancement that could have been filled by the contributions of an active and broad-based alumni association. I used to wonder why the thousands that had preceded me did not do more to directly contribute to the reputation of their alma mater. Had they not also walked the campus and wished those before them had done more? I give now to break that cycle, to honor a commitment I made to myself as I walked the campus as a student, and to give back to an institution that surpassed my expectations.
