2012 Master's Level Graduate Research Conference

The inaugural Master's Level Graduate Research Conference is open to the public and will feature work by master’s level students across the disciplines from Brockport and other universities in upstate New York and nearby southern Ontario, Canada. These students will present original research and artistic endeavors in poster sessions, panel presentations, and creative performances.

Conference Schedule

8 – 9 am Check-in for registered attendees and presenters
9 – 10:15 am Session I (schedule)
10:30 – 11:45 am Session II (schedule)
Noon – 1:30 pm Lunch and Keynote "The Nine Elements of a Sustainable Culture" by Dr. Mitchell Thomashow (pre-registration is required; registration is closed)
1:45 – 3 pm Session III: Workshops and Performances (schedule)
3:15 – 4:30 pm Session IV (schedule)

Keynote: "The Nine Elements of a Sustainable Culture"

Our keynote luncheon speaker will be Dr. Mitchell Thomashow, Emeritus President of Unity College in Maine and Director of the Presidential Fellows Program of Second Nature. He will speak about issues of sustainability in institutions of higher education in his address, "The Nine Elements of a Sustainable Culture." Read more about Dr. Thomashow.

Conference Registration for Lunch/Keynote is Closed; Conference Sessions Open to the Public

Those who registered for the Conference should check-in from 8-9 am in Seymour College Union to pick up conference materials. Name tag will be required for admission to the lunch and keynote.

Other conference sessions are free and open to the public.
