The Master's Level Graduate Research Conference is supported by the Office of Graduate Studies.
(Re)Framing Fragmentation is a collaborative interdisciplinary dance installation which includes video projection, photographs, and body-based performance. This dance installation will be presented as a work in progress with and will engage spectators in a post-performance dialogue. The collaborators’ intention is to gather the audience members’ aesthetic experience to inform further artistic research. Recognizing the body's multidimensionality, the artists explore its fragmentation, corporeality, gender identity process, and aesthetics. In addition (Re) Framing Fragmentation intends to encourage networks among artistic disciplines and advance the academic knowledge developed through the creative process.
