With the rising number of inclusive classrooms and a greater understanding of the abilities of students with special needs, it has become increasingly important for teachers to gain an understanding of students who require special accommodations. Our qualitative study, based on interviews with our participant, delves into the personal story of his schooling experiences. Through the careful analysis of his personal narrative, we will gain insight into what it means to be a student in his position. We hope that by attempting to access the world from his perspective, we will benefit as future educators in our awareness of students' unique needs. We also undertake this research with the belief that our research will act in ways to enhance and potentially improve his schooling experiences.
