Admissions Testing

Due to the competitive nature of Brockport's graduate programs, applicants to certain programs are required to submit test scores for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT).

Graduate Programs that require test scores:

  • GMAT - Forensic Accounting
  • GRE - Psychology
  • MAT or GRE - SUNY has adopted a new admission requirement for teacher preparation and select
educational administration programs effective fall 2015. Anyone applying to the fall 2015 semester and beyond must take and submit scores for either the GRE or Miller Analogies Test (MAT) to be considered for admission to a graduate education program here at The College at Brockport. Please refer to our Programs Requiring the GRE or MAT Document to determine if your program of interest is included in this mandate. Please contact Michael Harrison at: mharriso@brockport.edu with any questions or to discuss your options.

Information on test registration and centers is available on their respective websites: Graduate Record Examination and Graduate Management Admissions Test.
