Through a wide range of scholarships, The College at Brockport rewards its graduate students for academic achievement. There are many different kinds of scholarships available. Some are federal and state funded, some are private, some are specific to your discipline, and some are awarded to particular types of students, such as diversity or ROTC scholarships. All vary in criteria and monetary values, and all have high standards for academic performance.
The Scholarship Office will help you find the scholarship programs for which you may be qualified. As professionals with vast knowledge in this field, they may be able to help you find scholarships you may not have considered. We also invite you to visit the Resource Center in the Scholarship Office, which has multimedia and online resources so that you can do some research on your own. We will help you with filling out applications, selecting the scholarships that are the best fit for you, and determining criteria.
In addition, you may consider applying for a grant, which is money awarded to students that does not have to be repaid. Often grants are awarded by the Federal Government. You can also apply for the Federal Work-Study Program, which offers jobs to matriculated students in almost every department and administrative office.
