Getting Started

Graduate Admission at The College at Brockport is competitive. Acceptance depends on a combination of many factors, including grades, GRE scores, your Statement of Objectives, your research and study interests, and your future career plans.

  1. Visit our academic programs page. Here you will find a brief overview of the program requirements along with a link to the departmental web site. Please be sure to note that admission requirements vary by program. You may also view course offerings, faculty bios and their research interests.

  3. Attend an Open House or Recruitment Fair. You will find dates and locations of these events here.

  5. Meet with a Graduate Studies Admissions Counselor.  Our Graduate Admissions staff is well-versed in program requirements for each of our areas of concentration. We will answer questions about the the program, connect you with faculty or other graduate students, be available to you via email and phone, and help you with the Admissions process.
