Non-degree students:

Have a bachelor's degree and have fulfilled the prerequisites for the graduate courses they want to take
Do not wish to pursue a degree but want to enroll in graduate-level courses
Intend to seek admission to a graduate program, but have not yet completed admissions requirements

Application for Non-degree Status (Non-matriculated)

Applicants must complete and submit an online non-degree application with the non-refundable $25 application fee (MasterCard, Visa, Discover only).
Non-degree applications can only be submitted for the fall and spring semesters*.
An official transcript must be submitted documenting that the applicant holds a baccalaureate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. If a transcript is not available at the time of registration, applicants will be given 30 days from the first day of classes to provide one.
Non-degree students remain active and are eligible to register for subsequent semesters unless there is a hold on their record.
Students who plan to subsequently apply for admission to a graduate program should consult with the academic department before engaging in non-degree graduate study.
Select graduate courses are available to students in non-degree status.
Non-degree students are not eligible to register for 700-800 level courses.
A limited number of transfer credits and/or credits completed on a non-degree basis can be applied towards a degree program.
