Health Center

Health Fee Benefits

The Student Health Center is open to all The College at Brockport students. Those who have paid the mandatory health fee are seen at no charge. The fee is waived if you are taking classes when the Health Center is not open, or if your class is not on campus. Student teachers and those taking internships are often in this category. A $20 per office visit charge may be paid or if the student is planning to use the Health Center several times, the Office of Student Accounts will put the semester health fee on the student's bill.

Students are seen by appointment or on a walk-in basis. During peak times
(10am - 4:30pm) students may have to wait a bit longer. Before 9:30am is the lightest time of the day.

Over-the-counter remedies for minor problems with colds, pain, and wounds are available in the Health Center waiting room. This is a self-service area with no waiting or charge for Brockport students.

  • Cold Pack: Choose between regular and alternative health packs
  • Aches and Pains Pack: Try either ibuprofen or acetaminophen to relieve those typical discomforts like minor headaches, sprains and strains, and menstrual cramps
  • Wound Care Kits: Self-treatment for minor injuries like blisters, small cuts, scrapes and burns
