The College at Brockport requires that domestic students comply with health insurance regulations as federally mandated by the Affordable Care Act. This law requires that all individuals have health insurance. Information and guidelines regarding eligibility for various plans, including Medicaid, is available at https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov.
Effective August 2015, The College at Brockport will not offer a student health insurance plan.
Students that do not have a personal or family health insurance plan, go to https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov .

With the exception of emergency situations in which a student is unable to assume responsibility, all medical information is confidential. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student's explicit and informed written authorization. Notification of parents, College faculty, and administrators is considered the student's responsibility.
The Student Health Center holds national accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc., the nation's leading accreditation organization of ambulatory health facilities.
