Brockport Student Health Insurance
International Students: Please click this link for information on the International Student Insurance Plan, which is described on the Office of Student Accounts web page.
Health insurance is mandatory for all full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in 12 or more credits. Students are automatically charged for the plan on their student bill. The College has contracted with Aetna Student Health to provide a health insurance option for the 2011-2012 academic year.
If you have health insurance coverage, you may waive the insurance charge online by completing an electronic waiver before the deadline. Waiver deadlines are September 27, 2011 for fall and February 20, 2012 for new spring 2012 enrolled students.
Features of the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan: (To view the complete plan, visit www.aetnastudenthealth.com)
The premium for the 2011-2012 Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan will be $1640, which includes a $40 administrative fee. The premium for students whose initial full-time course registration is effective with the spring (January) 2012 term will be $973.
