Prior to traveling overseas in one of The College at Brockport’s Overseas Academic Programs, students are required to complete a medical examination. The Student Health Center (SHC) is happy to provide this service for you. Although there is no charge for the “travel physical’ if you have already paid the health fee, some vaccines and medications may have fees. Please schedule this appointment well in advance of your travel dates by calling 395-2414.

If you are going to Ghana over winter intercession:
Yellow fever vaccine is required for entry into some countries, including Ghana. The SHC and Passport Health are the only places in Monroe County that are certified by New York State to administer the yellow fever vaccine. During the fall semester, a staff member from SHC will come to your class to discuss ways to stay healthy when you travel. During the month of October, the SHC will schedule a special travel clinic for the students travel cling to Ghana over winter intercession.
