The details

Admission to the Honors College at Brockport is competitive, with a minimum high school GPA of 94 and SAT score of 1250. All freshmen admitted to the Honors College in the fall semester who are New York State residents are awarded the Honors College Scholarship in the amount of in-state tuition. For out-of-state students, the amount of the scholarship is an award of $10,470 (the Honors Scholarship for out-of-state students is a combination of the in-state Honors Scholarship valued at $6,470 and the Scholarship Recognition Award at $4,000. This provides out-of-state students a total value of $10,470 for their Honors Scholarship). The scholarship is renewable for up to four years as long as the recipients maintain the Terms of Award.

The Honors Scholarship is the highest award offered by The College at Brockport and cannot be combined with an Extraordinary Academic Scholarship (Dean's or Presidential) offer. However, out-of-state students who are awarded the Scholarship Recognition Award ($4,000) can also receive the Honors Scholarship ($6,470) as along as the student meets the academic requirements for both awards.

The application deadline for the fall 2016 semester is March 15, 2016.

If you have previously been offered an Extraordinary Academic Scholarship, your award will be upgraded and increased to reflect the Honors Scholarship and your financial aid package will be adjusted accordingly.
