 Dr. Donna Kowal (PhD University of Pittsburgh, 1996) has served as associate director of the Honors Program since 2004. In addition to her work in the Honors Program, she is an associate professor in the Department of Communication at SUNY Brockport. Her areas of teaching and research expertise include rhetorical theory, rhetorical criticism, and political communication. Dr. Kowal is a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

 Dr. Kenneth P. O'Brien (PhD Northwestern University, 1974) has directed the Honors Program since January, 2004. In addition, he served two terms as president of the College Senate, two terms as chair of the Department of History, six years as Monroe County historian, and a two-year term on the Motion Picture Association's Ratings Board. Dr. O'Brien is an historian of modern America whose most recent publication is a chapter in The Cambridge Companion to Modern American History (Cambridge University Press, 2006). He is the recipient of both the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching (1982) and the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Faculty Service (2005).

 Ms. Darlene Waters (Associate Degree, Genesee Community College, 2000) has served as Secretary of the Honors Program since 2001. In addition to providing professional support for the program’s administration, she works closely with students who utilize the services of the Honors Program office.
