The College at Brockport community comes together annually to celebrate student success at the College’s Annual Honors and Awards Ceremony. The long-standing tradition recognizes academic excellence, honoring students for outstanding achievement.
Since 1982, The Honors and Awards Ceremony has recognized thousands of extraordinary students in all academic areas of the College. The President’s Citation recipient, students receiving the top awards from each of the five Schools, as well as collegewide, departmental or program scholars are individually honored at this special event. A response from The College at Brockport faculty will be given by Dr. Allison Parker, associate professor and chair of the Department of History. Join us in celebrating our students' success!
Faculty and staff are encouraged to process in academic regalia. Those wishing to process in academic regalia should assemble at 2:30 pm in Room 119, located on the first floor of the Union. If you would like to attend the ceremony, but are unable to process, you are welcome to utilize general seating in Seymour Union, Ballroom.
Everyone is invited to attend a reception for the students, guests, faculty and staff immediately following the ceremony in the Main Lounge. Please come and support our talented students!
