Professional Retirement ORP
If you belong to one of the Optional Retirement Plans (ORP's) including TIAA-CREF, VALIC, METLIFE, and ING you belong to a defined cotribution plan. These plans offer a number of methods of withdrawing monies after retirement. I recommend you have a one on one counseling session with your plan representative prior to retirement. All plan representative websites and phone numbers may be accessed via the benefits directory. If you belong to TIAA-CREF I recommend calling the Office of Human Resources at 585-395-2126 to request a packet of TIAA-CREF "Preperation for Retirement Package" be sent to you.
