Classification and Salary Levels
Budget title and Salary Level are synonymous. They are a "package deal". For example, the budget title of Staff Assistant will always be an SL2; we cannot keep this budget title and change the SL lower or higher. Local title can be different than a budget title to help reflect the duties of a position. When an appropriate budget title exists and accurately reflects the duties of a position, we should use the budget title.
