This presentation introduces ways to support young children's emergent literacy development through play. The attendees will have an opportunity to engage with a story-telling and story-performing approach.
This session will focus on the importance of creating a caring, kind classroom environment within the early childhood setting. Participants will explore practical strategies and skills to utilize in their own classroom, maximizing each child's success."R
This workshop will discuss signs and causes of stress in young children and provide strategies for teaching coping and management skills. The focus will be on helping children gain a better understanding of the emotions they are experiencing and gain confidence, positive self-esteem and resilience.

By introducing research-based progressive movement concepts developing cognitive, kinesthetic and social connectivity, we will learn how brain-based dance education activates the attention and holistic potential of young learners.

The presentation will describe the developmental, behavioral/ mental health and educational problems of children and teens in foster care, including methods of identifying these problems and strategies for beginning to address these issues.

Handouts, videos, hands-on activities, and discussions will be used during this presentation to facilitate participants' better understanding of the topic and to practice their observation skills.
