Roxanne Johnston was named Vice President for Advancement and President of the Brockport Foundation in January 2006.

Prior to Brockport, she served at SUNY Geneseo for more than 20 years in a variety of roles within Advancement, including Associate Vice President of Advancement and Vice President of the Geneseo Foundation since 2001.

Roxanne received her Bachelors degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College.  She was a key player in helping Geneseo exceed the goals of its first comprehensive campaign and advancing faculty research and grants to support educational excellence.  More than two decades of advancement work reflect her progressive career built upon a strong work ethic, sound strategic planning, collaboration with colleagues, and positive donor relations.

She is responsible for the College’s Division of Advancement, represented by the functional areas/offices of Alumni Relations, Development, Marketing Communications, Design & Production, and Print Shop.

Roxanne received the SUNY Chancellors Award for Excellence in Professional Service in 2005; served as President of SUNY Council for University Advancement 2003-05 and currently serves as a member of the SUNY Chief Advancement Officers Advisory Committee.

Named Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Major Projects in July 2006...previously served as Director of Planned Gifts & Alumni Relations (February 2005-July2006)...was Director of Alumni Relations and Major Projects (September 2004-Feb. 2005) and Director of Alumni Relations and the Annual Fund (July 2002-September 2004)...was the Special Projects Coordinator within the Division from January 2001 to July 2002)...spent his first 15 years (Dec. 1985-Jan. 2001) at the College as Sports Information Director...graduate of SUNY Brockport with a degree in business administration/marketing/sports management.

Mike is responsible for all facets of major gift fund-raising at the College, including any fund-raising initiatives related to designated major projects within the institution. He also oversees the alumni relations program, including service as Executive Director of the Brockport Alumni Association. He serves on the board of directors of the State University of New York Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD) as well.

Jamie joined the Advancement team in September of 2006. She spent the previous six years working for U.S. Trust Company of New York in various roles in business development, special events and client marketing. Jamie graduated from Hofstra University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix (2004).

As Associate Director, Annual Giving, Jamie is a key member of a team of Advancement professionals focused on building philanthropic relationships with the primary goal of securing significant private support to advance SUNY Brockport's mission.

Became the Special Events Coordinator for the Division in July 2006...previously served as Development Associate (May 2005-June 2006)...joined the Advancement team in 2004 as an intern...also worked as a student employee in the Office for Students with Disabilities for two years... graduated with honors and holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from Brockport.

Kim is responsible for coordinating many of the events hosted by the division, including Mornings with the Professors, Writer's Voice, Art of Fact and the Benefactors & Scholars Brunch.

Named Secretary to the Vice President in September 2003...Vickie previously served as secretary to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs in the Office of Financial Aid...She has also worked on campus in the Office of Telecommunications and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions...Vickie was also a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve...She received an honorable discharge in November 2005 with 16 years of service.

Vickie is responsible for working directly with the Vice President and coordinating administrative support for all aspects of the Division.

Has been a half-time Keyboard Specialist in Advancement since January of 1993 …spent the previous three years with the Office of Design and Production…holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY Brockport and an associate's degree from Jamestown Business College.

Laura is responsible for data entry into the Banner system, including gift entry and acknowledgments.

Became the College's Director of Special Giving for Advancement in January 2004...spent the previous three years at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as the Director of Development for the College of Science...was in team development and business assessment at Xerox Corporation for twenty one years...has a masters degree in statistics from RIT.

Tim is responsible for working with individual donors who want to make special gifts or planned gifts to the College.  Tim also assists the development officers in the area of prospect research.

Cherise joined the Advancement team in September 2004 and became a permanent part of the staff in September 2005. She serves secretary for the development office.

Cherise graduated from Monroe Community College in 1998 with honors and is currently working toward her bachelor's at SUNY Brockport.

Named Associate Director of Finance & Advancement Services in February 2006 after being named Associate Director of Advancement Services in May 2005...was named Assistant Director of Advancement Services in July 2000...prior to that was Assistant Director of the Annual Fund for three years...also worked as a student employee in the Division his junior and senior years...holds a bachelor's degree in business administration (finance) and a master's degree in public administration (information management) from Brockport.

John is responsible for maintaining the alumni and development module in Banner, writing reports, and maintaining and updating the Division's web pages. He also serves as staff to the Foundation's Finance and Investment Committee's.

Named the Foundation Accountant in March 2003...Rhonda is responsible for managing the assets of the Brockport Foundation, including the endowed and restricted accounts as well as coordinating the Division's budget process.

Brad was named Director of Development in October of 2006, returning to his Alma Mater after serving for the previous six years as the Director of Agency Advancement at Mary Cariola Children's Center in Rochester where he was responsible for development and implementation of a comprehensive fund raising and public relations program.  A graduate of the Class of 1983 (BS-Physical Education/Sports Management) and 1985 (MS-Educational Administration), Brad previously served as a Residence Hall Director in the Division of Student Affairs (1985-1990) and in the College Development Department at Brockport (1990 - 2000).  Brad was responsible for initiation of the Senior Class Giving program, Undergraduate Alumni Association, annual fund and individual major giving.

Brad posses strong leadership, communication and organization skills along with a collaborative spirit that will help advance the development and constituent relations efforts at Brockport.  His major responsibilities will be in the area of development program management and major gift fund raising to support the goals and mission of the College.

Named Coordinator of Alumni Relations in March 2005…previously worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Division of Administration and Finance (September 04-February 05) and spent the four years before that working in the Enrollment Management Division…graduate of SUNY Brockport in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Betsy is responsible for assisting the Brockport Alumni Association and 10 sub-committees with major plans, events, functions and regular meetings. She serves as a liaison between the Alumni Association and on campus offices. She also coordinates multiple alumni events and reunions and works with various campus groups in scheduling annual Homecoming Weekend.
