What is Conditional Admission?

The State University of New York - Brockport partners with ELS Educational Services to provide conditional admission for students who have met the university’s academic requirements, but have not yet satisfied the English requirement. Students may apply for conditional admission based upon successful completion of level 112 through the ELS Center.

We accept proof of completion of ELS Language Center’s English for Academic Purposes Level112 (equivalent as TOEFL 550-paper; 213-computer; and 80 Internet), as satisfying the requirements for English proficiency all degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

How to Apply?

  1. Apply directly to SUNY- Brockport through the SUNY or Common Application
  2. Receive a conditional letter of admission from SUNY- Brockport
  3. Fill out ELS Application (PDF) or apply online from my online application .
