The College at Brockport’s Student Health Center provides outpatient medical care and educational programming to all registered students of The College at Brockport. Visits are free for students who have paid the mandatory student health fee.
The Student Health Center provides a variety of services including physicals, immunizations, treatment of illnesses and infections, over-the-counter remedies, and more. The center is regularly staffed by registered nurses and nurse practitioners.
The Student Health Center is open 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday during the academic year (Summer hours vary). Appointments are strongly encouraged, but walk-in appointments are available. Check the Center’s website for more information.
If you require medical attention outside of these hours, care is available at Lakeside Memorial Hospital on a fee-for-service basis. Lakeside Memorial Hospital is located approximately one mile away from campus at 156 West Ave.
Please note : Dental and eye care is not available at the Student Health Center. Since both are quire expensive in the United States, it is advised that you have a routine examination and any necessary services performed before you arrive in the U.S. Emergency visits can be arranged if necessary.
