PREPARING
PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES TO RESPOND TO A CHANGING WORLD
The demand for inter-agency cooperation and collaboration
has never been more important. Equipment, training, and
service demands place a strain on an organization's ability
to operate efficiently and effectively.
Matters of policy, organizational structure, mutual aid
and other cooperative agreements have become an important
aspect in this new millennium.
The State University of New York at Brockport's Institute
for Public Safety Policy Studies provides public safety
and criminal justice agencies with expertise from many sources.
The idea is to blend the appropriate set of skills and expertise
with the needs and problems of the agencies, seeking efficient
and productive outcomes.
