Proposal Due Dates

Category 1 and 2 proposals can be submitted for review any time during the fall and spring semesters.

Category 3 proposals will be reviewed at the following IRB board meetings:

Monday, September 22 - 9 am
Monday, October 6 - 2:30 pm
Monday, October 20 - 9 am
Monday, November 3 - 2:30 pm
Monday, November 17 - 9 am
Monday, December 1 - 2:30 pm
*Monday, December 8 - 9 am

*This meeting will only be held if there are Cat. 3 proposals that need to be reviewed before classes resume for the Spring ’09 semester.

Proposals must be received two weeks in advance of the board meeting to be considered.

Please note the IRB members will not be on campus during the holiday break in December/January. So please plan ahead to ensure timely review of your research proposal. Research to be conducted between December 1 - February 1 should be submitted for category 3 review no later than November 14, 2008 to ensure that it can be reviewed by the end of the semester. Category 1 and 2 proposals should be submitted by December 4 to ensure review in time for review/approval prior to the end of the fall semester.
