Five-year Plan

Introduction
If you look at the IT plans of a number of colleges and universities, you find a variety of styles in the documents. Many provide only very general statements or goals concerning the improvement of services, etc. For example, they may say, "campus network performance may be improved," or "we will provide better assistance to faculty." This is not the intended style of this document. Rather, there has been an effort to provide specific plans in a number of areas that the campus actually intends to do and that may already be in various stages of completion. Thus, this document focuses on doable programs rather than general goals.
