SUNY Brockport: Expect the Extraordinary!

Bmail

Beginning fall 2008, all students will receive communications from campus offices, such as Student Accounts, Financial Aid and Registration and Records, through Official Bmail Communication (Bmail). Bmail will come to you through your regular Brockport e-mail account with a subject line of “Official Bmail From …” and will replace mailed, hardcopy correspondence.

Why the switch? Bmail is a faster and more immediate way to communicate. It is better for the environment because it reduces the amount of paper we use. It’s also more economical because the College saves on postage costs. Bmail also is more efficient. You can read and respond to Bmail, make updates and get timely information related to your student record in minutes — not days.

Be sure to check your campus e-mail account regularly. Also, ensure that your e-mail software accepts e-mail from bmail@brockport.edu.

Visit the Bmail FAQ webpage to learn more and get answers to frequently asked questions. To get a current listing of Bmails and participating campus offices, visit the Campus Information System (Banner). If you need additional assistance, contact the Help Desk at (585) 395-5151 or helpdesk@brockport.edu.
