Classroom Technology
Equipment Check Out Policies
- Classroom Technology equipment for on campus/classroom use/college-related events is loaned to current faculty/staff only.
- Equipment user must provide a department account number at the time of equipment pick up to cover potential late return fee.
- Overdue equipment will be charged $25/day to the user’s department account number until the equipment is returned.
- Due to the limited supply and high demand of some equipment, reservations are strongly suggested.
- Classroom Technology staff assumes that the user knows how to operate borrowed equipment. If this is not the case, training is available.
- Set up, operation, and security of loaned equipment is the responsibility of the user.
- Loan duration is based on availability and demand of equipment.
- To prevent defective equipment from being further utilized, please report problems or difficulties as soon as possible.
Media Duplication Policy
Classroom Technology duplication services comply with the Copyright Law of the United States and the Fair Use Guidelines for Educational Multimedia
- Classroom Technology will not utilize College equipment or personnel to illegally duplicate copyrighted media.
- Classroom Technology will only duplicate entire copyrighted media for academic use with prior written permission from the copyright owner.
- It is the responsibility of the user to obtain the proper written permission.
- Classroom Technology will only duplicate portions of copyrighted media for academic use as governed by the Fair Use Guidelines for Educational Multimedia.
- Classroom Technology will not duplicate any media that shows evidence of being an unlicensed copy.
- The user should supply the blank media for audio/video duplication.

Other Policies
- Classroom Technology staff will train faculty/designee regarding the presentation of classroom media, but will not assume responsibility of conducting the class (i.e. take attendance, administer exams, distribute paperwork, etc.).
- Due to the limited capacity of the photocopier, Classroom Technology agrees to copy a small amount of classroom materials only in case of emergency with the understanding that the instructor's department will be charged for the copies. This service does not include collating, stapling, or two sided copies.
