Services & Responsibilities
- Maintain classroom technology for the college
- Respond to classroom equipment failures
- Train faculty on use of classroom technology
- Set up and support videoconferencing technology
- Set up and support student response systems
- Provide various digital video conversion services
- Support Ipod/mp3 player usage in the classroom
- Offer classroom technology consultation
- Supervise learning space technology planning
- Loan out a variety of audio visual equipment to faculty and staff (List of equipment available to faculty and staff)
- Loan out limited audio visual equipment to students, with written permission, for classroom use (List of equipment available to students)
- Duplicate VHS video tapes on to VHS video tapes provided by the user
- Duplicate VHS video tapes on to DVD+R blanks provided by the user
- Transfer international format VHS video tapes on to VHS video tapes provided by the user
- Deliver & set up laptop & LCD projector for various non-academic presentations
- Provide sound equipment set up for limited campus-wide special events and activities
- Repair various campus audio visual equipment used for instruction
- Repair damaged audio cassette & VHS video tapes
- Maintain lost & found for Edwards Hall
