NetID: Your Gateway to Brockport's Online Resources

What is a NetID?

Your NetID is a username used to access computing resources at The College at Brockport. These resources include e-mail/webmail, ANGEL, wireless networking, lab computers, lab printing, and Drake library databases. All students, faculty and staff have a NetID.

Where can I find my NetID?

Go to the NetID Lookup and Password Change System

  1. Click the first option (Help me look it up)
  2. Enter the information requested for either option 1 or option 2 (it is not necessary to fill in the fields for both options)
  3. Click the "Continue" button
  4. Your Brockport NetID will be displayed along with fields for changing your password

What is my password?

For both students and faculty/staff, the initial password is the first letter of your first name followed by the last five digits of your Banner ID Number.

Note: We strongly recommend changing your NetID password by going to the online NetID Lookup and Password Change System.

What is my Banner ID Number?

Your Banner ID Number starts with 800 (eight hundred) and is not the same as your social security number.  It appears on your EagleOne campus ID card. For additional help, see Instructions for Finding Your Banner ID Number.

What if my NetID password does not work?

You can update your NetID password online. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the NetID Lookup and Password Change System.
  2. Click the first option (Help me look it up)
  3. Enter the information requested for either option 1 or option 2 (it is not necessary to fill in the fields for both options).
  4. Click the "Continue" button.
  5. Your Brockport NetID will be displayed along with fields for changing your password (Note: if you have more than one NetID, you will first be asked to choose which one you wish to update).
  6. Enter your new NetID password in both boxes and click "Submit". Please follow the guidelines provided when creating your new password. The password change takes effect right away.
