Summer Computer Updates

This summer Library, Information and Technology Services (LITS) will begin a project aimed at improving the security and manageability of our computing infrastructure. We will perform software updates on all faculty and staff computers, including the following changes:

Updating the anti-virus software, and anti-virus update settings

Configuring Windows Updates to the College standard

Renaming computers as necessary to the College standard

Other updates to improve our ability to support you

If you have a laptop you may be asked to make it available to LITS or to stop by the Help Desk in Drake Library. LITS will make every effort to minimize disruptions to faculty and staff. We appreciate your flexibility and will move as quickly possible.
