Extension of Permission To Remain In the United States
If you need to remain in your educational program beyond the date originally estimated for completion of the program as stated in item 5 on your initial I-20 Form, you must file an application for extension of your permission to stay in the U.S. This application must be submitted to the INS within the 30 days before the date of completion on the I-20.
