Marion Schrank Student Leadership Award
Each year, the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs recognizes an outstanding student leader with the Dr. Marion Schrank Student Leadership Award. The student is selected on the basis of exemplary leadership, scholastic achievement, and a commitment to the College as demonstrated through active involvement in an organization or campus employment.
All qualified SUNY Brockport undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for this prestigious recognition. Following are details related to eligibility and selection of the award:
Criteria
- I. Undergraduate student with a minimum 2.50 cumulative grade point average
II. 54 completed credit hours at the end of the Fall 2007 semester
III. Record of exemplary leadership, scholastic achievement and a commitment to the college through leadership in an organization and/or campus employment.
IV. The student is currently serving in an elected or appointed position(s) of leadership in a recognized club, organization or on a campus-wide committee. In the position/s, the student:
- Has excelled in the normal responsibilities as defined for the position/s held or
Has shown extraordinary leadership beyond the normal responsibilities defined for the positions held.
Has been a leader of students involved in campus-related services or other activities (other than those listed above), which have been of significant benefit to the College and/or Brockport community.
