The Organization Leader Certificate is designed for club and organization leaders to help develop the tangible skills needed to achieve success as a group.
In addition, the Organization Leader Certificate provides professional development to club and organization leaders.This certificate is based on the Student Leadership Challenge.

Model the Way
Attend this workshop to identify the core values of your organization. What is important to you and your group? How can you talk about this with your club members? What do you want members and others to say about your organization?
Inspire a Shared Vision
Attend this workshop to begin writing appropriate goals for your organization. What do you want to accomplish? What does it take to write goals that your members will buy into? How can you use goal setting to take your group to the next level?
Challenge the Process
Attend this workshop to start the innovation process. Has your group been stuck doing things the same old way? How can you change things up to be more productive and have a more significant impact?
Enable Others to Act
Attend this workshop to learn how to run an effective meeting and get the most out of the different personalities around the table. How can you involve your club members by making your meetings more engaging?
Encourage the Heart
Everyone needs a little recognition! Attend this workshop to learn more about the art of encouragement. How do you and your club members like to be recognized? How can you make sure that the recognition is authentic and genuine?
In addition to attending the workshops, individuals seeking the Organization Leader Certificate must also complete TRAILs for each content area. Each concept has a few different TRAILs to choose from, so select one from each to complete and reflect on.
Once you have completed a TRAIL, you need to upload your reflection onto the myBrockport curriculum. Instructions can be found here.
