Find Articles - Where to Search
Databases are electronic collections of articles. In most cases, the article itself is also stored in the databse.
Find Articles Using Databases
For general articles, use the Articles box. To reach either a specific database or subject relevant databases, use the Find Articles & Databases link on the library homepage.

SearchME is a federated search engine. It allows you to search several databases at once. By default it will search Academic Search Complete, General OneFile and JSTOR.
When you first start searching, you may wish to click the Stop Searching link to display results found up to that point.

On the results page, you can click the title of the article to go into the database, or the name of the database next to Source to connect.

Aditionally, the Find Articles & Databases page gives you several options:
This is the Academic Search Premier basic search screen, but information below is true for any of our databases from EBSCO. See below for numbering definitions:
- The name of the database you are searching. Use the Choose databases » link to switch between, or select, multiple EBSCO databases.
- The Advanced Search option will provide you with multiple search boxes and more limiting options.
- Check the Full Text box if you want to find only articles available full text in this database (not recommended because of our Find Full Text feature).
- Check the Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) box to limit to scholarly or peer reviewed articles. See our Find Peer Reviewed Articles page under How do I… on the web site for more information.
- MyEBSCOhost is a feature where you can create an account to store articles, search links, organize results and set up RSS feeds and alerts for searches and/or journal titles.
After performing a search, you will get a results screen that looks similar to the following:
By clicking on an article title, you get even more options:
See our Find Full Text tutorial under How do I… on the library home page for help using the Find Full Text button.
