Academic Technology Support promotes a student learning environment that assists and encourages technological advancements. We maintain over 100 classrooms as well as provide technical support for special events on The College at Brockport campus.
To report urgent classroom technology needs, call us on-campus x5151 option 5.
Virtually every classroom on the campus contains enhancements which we support. They have at least the following equipment permanently installed: computer, DVD/VCR, and sound amplification system. Projection systems are either mounted in the ceiling or in a cart. We maintain a series of training videos to answer common questions about the use of classroom technology.
We maintain and support approximately 20 computer labs across campus, which contian either Mac and Windows-based computers (or both). Labs can be found in Dailey Hall, Drake Library, the Student Learning Center, and many other places. There is also a Virtual Lab you can run from your own computer. Any student or faculty/staff with a Brockport NetID can use the labs.
Videoconferencing allows groups at different locations to interact with each other through high quality video and audio connections. Learn more about videoconferencing.
