How to Reset Your Password

The following are instructions to change your NetID password.

If you are looking for instructions to change your Google Apps (Gmail) password visit: Access your Google Apps Account.

If you are looking for instructions to change your Banner PIN visit: Change your PIN

1. To reset your NetID password you first need to access the NetID Lookup and Password Change System https://www.brockport.edu/bounce/netid
2. On the left side, under “What is a NetID” select “I know both my NetID and current password”
3. Enter your NetID, current password, and your new password twice. Note the guidelines listed at the top of the page regarding what a password should and should not contain.
4. Select “Change Password”.
5. Your NetID password has now been changed. You will need to change your password again in six months.

1. To reset your NetID password you first need to access the NetID Lookup and Password Change System https://www.brockport.edu/bounce/netid
2. On the left side of the screen, under “What is a NetID?” select “I don't know my NetID or I don't know my current password”.
3. You will be presented with two options to reset your password:
   1. Option 1
      1. If you know your Banner ID (800 number) and Banner PIN, enter the information in the corresponding fields and click “continue” located at the bottom of the page.
      2. You receive your NetID in the next screen.
      3. Create a new NetID password by entering your new password twice. Note the guidelines listed at the top of the page regarding what a password should and should not contain.
      4. Select “Change Password”.
      5. Your NetID password has now been changed. You will need to change your password again in six months.
   2. Option 2
      1. Look at your EagleOne Card ID. Enter the ISO number which is the 16-digit number found on the lower left of you EagleOne card.
      2. Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
      3. Select the appropriate drop-downs for your Date of Birth, and click “continue”.
      4. You receive your NetID in the next screen.
      5. Create a new NetID password by entering your new password twice. Note the guidelines listed at the top of the page regarding what a password should and should not contain.
      6. Select “Change Password”.
      7. Your NetID password has now been changed. You will need to change your password again in six months.
