The College at Brockport uses Google Apps to provide email to students. This is very similar to Gmail but provides students with a brockport.edu email address.

Your Google Apps ID looks like an email address and it uses your NetID. Your Google Apps username is netid@u.brockport.edu. If your NetID were asmit1, your Google Apps username would be asmit1@u.brockport.edu. You can receive email at both asmit1@brockport.edu or asmit1@u.brockport.edu.

The easiest way to access Google Apps is:

1. Hover over the Quick Links button in the upper right-hand corner of any Brockport Web page
2. Choose Webmail (the first option)
3. Click Sign into Google Apps under Students.

You can also click on Webmail at the bottom of the page or bookmark http://google.com/a/u.brockport.edu.

1. Proceed to the NetID Lookup and Password Change System
2. Click on “Change your Google Apps password”
3. Under Option 1 use your Banner ID Number and PIN to log in.
4. Choose a password and type it in the box.
5. Confirm your password by typing it again.
6. Click “Change Password”
