How to set up on iOS

1) On your iOS device, go to the official calendar.

2) Tap “Brockport Academic Calendar iCal and Outlook file.”

3) You will see a list of events on the academic calendar. Tap “Add All.”

4) You will be prompted to select a calendar. If you have an Exchange account set up on your iOS device, you can choose to add these events to your Exchange calendar. Otherwise, you can choose from a list of iCloud calendars.

5) Tap on the calendar you would like to add the events to, then tap “Done.”

How to set up on Android

1) On your Android device, go to the official calendar.

2) Tap “Brockport Academic Calendar iCal and Outlook File.”

3) Go to your notification tray to view your downloads. Find the .ics file and tap it.

4) You should be redirected to your calendar automatically. Tap to add the events to your calendar.

How to set up on OS X

1) On your Mac, go to the official calendar.

2) Click “Brockport Academic Calendar iCal and Outlook File.”

3) You will receive a prompt that should default to “Open with CalendarFileHandler.” If it does not default to this, select “Open with” and choose “CalendarFileHandler” from the dropdown.

4) Your Calendar application will open and prompt you to select a calendar. Choose either an existing calendar or “New calendar.”

5) If you choose to make a new calendar, it will automatically adopt the name of the calendar. To rename this new calendar or assign it a different color, hold control and click on the name of the calendar, then select “Get Info.” From this menu you can change the name, color, and description of the calendar.

How to set up on Windows / Outlook

NOTE: To set this calendar up on a Windows computer, you must have Outlook installed.

1) On your Windows computer, go to the official calendar.

2) Click “Brockport Academic Calendar iCal and Outlook File.”

3) You will receive a prompt asking if you would like to save or open the file. If the prompt does not default to “Open with Microsoft Outlook,” select “Open with” and find Microsoft Outlook in the dropdown.

4) Outlook will automatically add the Brockport calendar to your Exchange calendar.

How to set up on Google Calendar

1) On your computer, go to the official calendar.

2) Click “Add Brockport Academic Calendar to Google Apps.”

3) If you are not logged into Google, you will be prompted to log in. Otherwise, continue to the next step.

4) You will be prompted to add the Brockport Academic Calendar. Click “Yes, add this calendar” to add it to your Google Calendar.

5) To change the color associated with this new calendar, click on “Other calendars.” Hover over the name of the calendar, then click on the downward-facing arrow to the right of the name. You can then select a new color for the events on the calendar.
